Having it ALL: NASBA Website Reaches Milestone

Fonteva customer the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) recently announced reaching a milestone with a key online resource they’ve developed and improved over the last decade.

NASBA first introduced its Accountancy Licensing Library (ALL) in 2006 and then relaunched an enhanced version of the resource in 2010. The enhanced site featured a new section for accounting students and an enhanced state requirement comparison research tool as well as incorporating video. The goal was for site to be a “true portal for CPA licensing information.”

Access to the site is complimentary for higher ed institutions, and colleges and universities across the U.S. are finding ALL to be a valuable academic advising resource for their faculty and students. NASBA has recently reached a milestone of having more 200 colleges and universities taking advantage of ALL. The complimentary program is designed to help accounting department chairs and other academic advisors understand and prepare students for the regulatory aspects of launching careers as CPAs.

ALL also benefits more than just schools. Paid subscribers, including individuals who have passed their CPA Exam and are ready to apply for a CPA license, as well as accounting firms, utilize ALL for current information and forms in one central location. The ALL helps remove the complexity from the CPA license and firm registration process for students and busy accounting professionals.

What a great example of the way we’ve always encouraged organizations to think about implementing technology: putting an emphasis on centralization and removing unnecessary complexity. This approach is benefitting NASBA and its members and other stakeholders.

NASBA began using Fonteva For Associations almost four years ago. You can read their case study here. Since then we’ve seen the organization continue to grow and expand its offerings of programs and services. We congratulate the association on this most recent milestone.
