Today Salesforce is celebrating the 10th birthday of the AppExchange. As part of the celebration, they’ve asked their partners to blog about it, which I’ve done quite a bit during the last two years. During 2014 and 2015, I made it a point to select and highlight an App of the Month.
Why? First, there probably is an app for that, for just about anything you want to accomplish professionally and personally. But how do you know which apps are the best ones for your association? To help the association community in this selection process, I highlighted apps from the Salesforce AppExchange so that you were able get a better idea of what was available and might be most useful to you in your work.
Second, I’ve always believed that access to the Salesforce AppExchange is one of the best benefits of which our association customers are able to take advantage when they choose our solution MemberNation as their AMS. They get access to more than 2,000 business-ready applications that can be downloaded and activated quickly to extend the functionality of Salesforce. Popular apps include email marketing Platform Solutions, survey tools and data management aids.
Here’s a sampling of the apps that we’ve highlighted because we thought they would be particularly useful to associations:
Cloudingo solves the problem that so many associations face in their efforts to eliminate duplicate accounts and membership information. The app’s simple, intuitive dashboard takes the guess work out of overall database management.
With SurveyMonkey for Salesforce, users get all their survey data into Salesforce in just a few quick steps. To gain a complete understanding of their customer experience, users can send surveys, get responses, and analyze the results directly in Salesforce.
IntelliMail is helpful for sending dashboards and reports to people without Salesforce user accounts. Even if they don’t use Salesforce personally, key stakeholders can benefit from the valuable business intelligence the platform allows others to generate.
How much are your customers/members worth? Scout Link for Sales provides predictive analysis to help organizations maximize the lifetime value of their customers. Through predictive pricing, retention monitoring and trial scoring, membership sales teams could potentially increase revenues and profits 10 to 15 percent.
Have you used these apps or others featured on the exchange? How have they helped your association? You can join the conversation using #appexchange10 on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn or Instagram and see all the great activity planned on http://AppExchangeTurns10.com.
